In my first year of this journey called life

So many new things came into being

From lights to shapes.

The great thing is knowing your parent’s voice

And knowing you’re safe and able to smile

Without a care in the world.

A new world where I learned transportation

Through crawling.

Prepared myself

For bigger things

In which not all can be good.”
